[The Malnosso weren't known for their kindness, and perhaps that's why Ion was returned to the village so far from House One. He was tired and all he wanted to do was curl up somewhere and sleep... which was something he was now very capable of doing seeing as he's been transformed into a soadoptable. Those little paws of his can only walk so fast, but he manages to make it halfway to House One from the plaza before he has to stop and rest. Finding a nice soft spot of grass to lay in, he curls up and sighs, hoping he doesn't fall asleep before he can make it back home...]

[Of course, assuming he does make it back to House One safe and sound, those living there can expect to hear tiny scratches and meowing at the door... and possibly a few windows if no one hears him.]


[[ooc: ION IS NOW A KITTEN. But he won't be forever! "Green" will turn him back to normal though with a pair of cat ears and a tail because I can, but saying "Ion" will make him go right back to being a kitten. And it won't quite be an instant transformation either, so figuring out what made him change should prove to be a bit difficult. He still has a tiny pair of green wings too, but the longer his identity stays a secret, the more fun it'll be. :'D]]

[It's a good thing Luke goes pretty much everywhere when he goes jogging. It's not that often to see some strange things as he jogs, and they always cause him to slow down and stare for a second, maybe say something to himself, before heading off again.

This is no exception. Seeing the kitten just laying there, he slows down and just stares.]

A green cat...? [That's something you don't see every day.

... Well, might as well keep jogging.]

[Oh, hey Luke, how's it going. Ion was just awake enough to hear Luke's voice and just as he perks up his head, there's a small poof of smoke and suddenly the cat is gone!]

[Instead there is Ion, sitting there on the grass looking... confused, to say the least. Thankfully, the ears are the same color as his hair now, so they blend in rather well.]

Right before she's about to go out, she hears something. At the door? And it sounds like something small.

When she opens the door, slowly...a kitten? Ordinarily she wouldn't pause to think about it. But this one is green.]

[Ion had just had his front paws pressed up against the door, so when she pulls it open, he falls forward in a rather ungraceful manner. But he skips back up to his feet and hops inside, trotting past Nephry and sitting on the ground behind her, meowing as best a kitten can.]

[Oh, it's Tao! She was kind of a cat, right? Too bad all Ion here can do is meow back, which he does. He'd get up, but he's still pretty tired... walking from the forest to here was a long way for a tiny kitten!]

[Well here's someone the Nyan Master probably hoped to never run into. No such luck. Van watches the little kitten's progress for a bit (even though he'd honestly be perfectly happy never seeing another cat ever again...) and really, it's not making very much. Such a small thing really shouldn't be left to fend for itself.

Can he pick it up without it turning into nothing but a whirl of sharp parts, is the question?]

[Right now? All Ion wants to do is rest. He's not really paying much attention to what's around him, so he curls up right next to the man and closes his eyes. It was nice and warm here, too...]

[That scratching...scratching. It's been going on for ten minutes now, why isn't anyone checking up on it?! Dist practically throws his book down, having been trying to read in the living room - it had the comfiest chair - but that accursed sound was driving him mad. Storming to the door, he flings it open, expecting to see some idiot child running off and giggling like a lunatic.

He blinks, however, when he sees a very odd looking feline.]

[OH THANK YULIA SOMEONE OPENED THE DOOR and Ion just sort of tumbles in when the door is opened. Not very graceful for a cat, but since he's still a kitten, that's forgivable, right?]

[He trots right into the house and stands beside Dist, looking up at him and meowing softly. Come on, who can resist this face?]

[Meanwhile, all Ion sees is a ball of yarn suddenly rolling past him. He stares at it as it rolls past... something about it is just...]

[Tear must have a cuteness radar or something, because not long after Ion starts scratching at the door she's opening a window to stick her head outside, to see what was causing the ruckus at the front door.]

[Oh, it's Tear! His eyes brighten and he scampers over towards the open window, meowing at Tear from the ground. For a moment, it seems like she might have to come out and get him, but with a quick leap and few flaps of his wings, he manages to make it up to the edge of the windowsill.]

[Toph seems to run into more than her fair share of animals in Luceti, so when she feels the light trademark of a cat, she's not surprised. In fact, she doesn't even pay attention to it. She just keeps heading home from the shop, tossing a can of soda between her hands.]

[And he looked so happy when Anise started coming towards the window, too. He falls rather dramatically: backwards and onto the grass below, landing on his side instead of on his feet. He's fine, of course, be he's rather ungraceful for a cat. He looks up at Anise and lets out a soft, long meow.]

[Oh Ion why so tiny. Frey pauses in his walk when he sees a flash of lighter green in the grass out of the corner of his eye. A... kitten? The poor thing looks exhausted... And has....

[Ion had only just laid down when Frey kneels over him. He's out of breath and a bit dirty from walking through the grass and along the dirt paths. He manages to lift his head up in response, but then just as quickly lowers it down on top of his front paws. So tired...]

Naturally his first thought is of the original Riku, but when he looks up, there's something... different about him. He blinks a few times and even rubs a paw over his face. Maybe he just wasn't quite awake yet!]

[Ion doesn't seem at all bothered by Lindsay's approach, but the other cat... well, when a seemingly ordinary house cat suddenly appears to be gigantic, it's understandably a little intimidating.]
