[The Malnosso weren't known for their kindness, and perhaps that's why Ion was returned to the village so far from House One. He was tired and all he wanted to do was curl up somewhere and sleep... which was something he was now very capable of doing seeing as he's been transformed into a soadoptable. Those little paws of his can only walk so fast, but he manages to make it halfway to House One from the plaza before he has to stop and rest. Finding a nice soft spot of grass to lay in, he curls up and sighs, hoping he doesn't fall asleep before he can make it back home...]

[Of course, assuming he does make it back to House One safe and sound, those living there can expect to hear tiny scratches and meowing at the door... and possibly a few windows if no one hears him.]


[[ooc: ION IS NOW A KITTEN. But he won't be forever! "Green" will turn him back to normal though with a pair of cat ears and a tail because I can, but saying "Ion" will make him go right back to being a kitten. And it won't quite be an instant transformation either, so figuring out what made him change should prove to be a bit difficult. He still has a tiny pair of green wings too, but the longer his identity stays a secret, the more fun it'll be. :'D]]

[Oh, hello there Sokka. Hope you don't mind a sudden poof of smoke all up in your face and someone suddenly appearing in your arms. Don't worry about dropping him; he was on his way to falling over anyway.]

[Sokka coughs on the smoke and is rather surprised to find Ion, of all people, laying on the ground.

No response. Just staring.]

[Ion brings a hand to his head as he sits up. Nevermind Sokka's staring-- he's normal again! Though that seemed rather short for a malnosso side-effect... of course, he hasn't noticed that he has an extra pair of ears atop his head. Thankfully, for now, they blend in rather well with his hair.]

I... I'm back to normal? Just like that...?

[... back to normal? So that cat was...?]

You... you were the cat!?

[...oh, that's right, Sokka's still here. This isn't embarrassing at all, really!]

Yes. A side-effect from the Malnosso, I'm afraid. Though I didn't expect it to be over so quickly...

[Is that a tail twitching ever so slightly on the ground behind him? No way, you're imagining things.]

[... and he was holding him up to his chest. Good grief. Sokka holds out a hand to help him up and sighs.]

Let's just both agree... this never happened.

[Hey, at least you weren't the one who was purring. Ion takes his hand and then dusts himself off once he's on his feet.]

I believe that's for the best...

So... I guess you're probably wanting to get home, then...

Er, yes. I imagine my housemates will want to know I'm back...

[Unfortunately for him, when he returns to being a kitten he's a few feet in the air, which leads to a rather ungraceful fall and a squeak.]

[Today is just not his day.]

[He's already turned around when he hears a squeak. When he turns around... there's cat Ion again.]

[Sokka sighs and crouches down in front of Cat Ion.]

I thought cats were supposed to land on their feet.

[Unfortunately, that just gets a meow in reply. This wouldn't be nearly so bad if he could at least talk...]

... and no translation either. [Huff.] It's House One, right? I can drop you off.

[He looks too useless to get there on his own.]

[Awwww, Sokka, you're such a nice guy. Ion's face brightens and he meows again with a nod.]

Yeah, yeah. I know who you are now, so don't try acting all cute on me now.

[Sokka will pick up Ion again, but this time there will be no holding him close. Nope, Ion will be held in front of him, held firmly (but not tightly) in both hands.]

[He can't help it he was born this way, baby.]

[Being held this way is far from comfortable, but he can deal with it until they get to House One. He's just glad he'll be able to relax at home soon... even if it'll be as a cat.]

[Well, cats aren't much good for conversation, so Sokka will carry Ion in silence, at least until they get to the house.]

Well there you are. Hopefully they'll be able to recognize the green cat.

[Thankfully, that's not going to be an issue. Not long after Sokka says the magic word does the Ion!kitty once more vanish in a poof of smoke, once more turning back into Ion. At least this time he doesn't fall over... though hopefully Sokka pulled his arms away before this turned into an awkward hug.]

[Ion's feet may be on the ground, but Sokka's hands are still wrapped around Ion, under his shoulders. Blink blink.

He quickly pulls those away.]

... this is going to get old fast.

I'm sorry. Hopefully the effects won't last for too long... [Awkward.]

...but thank you for bringing me home.

Yeah... maybe you should get a name tag for while you're a cat. Just a thought.
