[The Malnosso weren't known for their kindness, and perhaps that's why Ion was returned to the village so far from House One. He was tired and all he wanted to do was curl up somewhere and sleep... which was something he was now very capable of doing seeing as he's been transformed into a soadoptable. Those little paws of his can only walk so fast, but he manages to make it halfway to House One from the plaza before he has to stop and rest. Finding a nice soft spot of grass to lay in, he curls up and sighs, hoping he doesn't fall asleep before he can make it back home...]

[Of course, assuming he does make it back to House One safe and sound, those living there can expect to hear tiny scratches and meowing at the door... and possibly a few windows if no one hears him.]


[[ooc: ION IS NOW A KITTEN. But he won't be forever! "Green" will turn him back to normal though with a pair of cat ears and a tail because I can, but saying "Ion" will make him go right back to being a kitten. And it won't quite be an instant transformation either, so figuring out what made him change should prove to be a bit difficult. He still has a tiny pair of green wings too, but the longer his identity stays a secret, the more fun it'll be. :'D]]

[He's trying to find out what changes you into a cat so he can avoid doing it again, GOD. It's strange enough knowing the kitty he was kind of cuddling was Ion...having Ion change suddenly would just be...odd. Dist wants to avoid that, thanks. Go away, Mr. Hansen.]

If my assumption is correct, Fon Master Ion, there is a trigger word that changes your form to and from a cat. If we can find it, we may be able to keep you human for a longer period of time.

[GODDAMNIT welp, there he goes again. There's a poof of smoke and suddenly kitten!Ion is once more sitting on the bed staring up at Dist. He blinks a few times, wondering what just happened... and then proceeds to make a face up at Dist.]

[Oh, come on! He didn't say a single word of what he said before! Does the word change every few minutes, maybe, like a fonslot seal? That could be...very problematic.]

M-My apologies, Fon Master... I-It's possible there are two words, perhaps, or the words changes periodically. I'm uncertain, but I do hope the latter is not the case. [He scowls, closing his eyes and rubbing his temples. This is annoying. it's late, Ion is a cat in his room, and he kind of wants to go to bed and not deal with this.] ...Would it be all right if I tried once more? Nod yes or no.

[If he can say both the two sentences (given that he remembers them exactly) slowly, each word, then he may know which is and isn't the trigger.]

[Actually, you know what? The only thing worse than turning into a cat is turning into a cat and then into a person and then into a cat and then back to a person. Nevermind the awkwardness of it all; it's not very pleasant either!]

[He's probably just bothering Dist right now, anyway. Maybe he should just go hide in his room until the effects completely wear off? He turns, as if meaning to just hop down off the bed--]

[Wow, fail cat. Dist blinks, leans over his bed to check if the kitty was all right, then...just begins to laugh. Wow. No, seriously, wow. He laughs for a solid few minutes, and bends over to right Ion onto his feet and gives his back a long, gentle stroke. There, there.]

Not very coordinated, are you, Fon Master? Do you need me to take you back to your room? I could bring a pillow for you to sleep on...lest you fall off your very own bed.

[SO MEAN, DIST. He gives a disapproving meow when he's righted on his feet. No amount of pets are going to make up for this, okay!!]

[Especially not for the continued teasing. There's an attempt to push Dist's hand away with a paw, but that only makes Ion lose his balance again and fall into his side.]

[SIGH. He's just going to lay there in defeat for a minute or two. Clearly he lost what little was left of his dignity when he fell off the bed.]

[Oh my g--ffff. Ion you really need to stop being adorable. Dist is having a hard time not laughing and wanting to cuddle you. He's never been one to enjoy cute, furry animals, but cats were nothing like cheagles. They weren't as annoying first off. And weren't a potential fire hazard.

Dist continues to pet the little kitten for a moment or two longer before he just gives up and picks Ion up and sets Ion on his feet.]

Mm...perhaps I could allow you to stay here for the night, if you like. [He looks at the clock in his room, blinking.] Though with the time being what it is, we should both be asleep by now...
