[The Malnosso weren't known for their kindness, and perhaps that's why Ion was returned to the village so far from House One. He was tired and all he wanted to do was curl up somewhere and sleep... which was something he was now very capable of doing seeing as he's been transformed into a soadoptable. Those little paws of his can only walk so fast, but he manages to make it halfway to House One from the plaza before he has to stop and rest. Finding a nice soft spot of grass to lay in, he curls up and sighs, hoping he doesn't fall asleep before he can make it back home...]

[Of course, assuming he does make it back to House One safe and sound, those living there can expect to hear tiny scratches and meowing at the door... and possibly a few windows if no one hears him.]


[[ooc: ION IS NOW A KITTEN. But he won't be forever! "Green" will turn him back to normal though with a pair of cat ears and a tail because I can, but saying "Ion" will make him go right back to being a kitten. And it won't quite be an instant transformation either, so figuring out what made him change should prove to be a bit difficult. He still has a tiny pair of green wings too, but the longer his identity stays a secret, the more fun it'll be. :'D]]

[... well that's something you don't see every day. Sure, she'd seen some people with some odd hair colors out there... but... oddly-colored cats? That was a new one. ... but it was so cuuuuute! But what was a kitten that tiny doing without its mommy?

As Lindsay heads over though, she's preceded by someone else who's just as interested. Ion!kitty might soon find a bigger cat nosing at him. What you doin' little guy?]

[Ion doesn't seem at all bothered by Lindsay's approach, but the other cat... well, when a seemingly ordinary house cat suddenly appears to be gigantic, it's understandably a little intimidating.]

[Though he takes a wary step back, he doesn't make any attempt to run away. His wings also start to flutter a bit, which are also just as green as the rest of him.]

[And then suddenly there's a hand ushering the larger cat out of the way]

Come on, Thylos don't scare him!

[The larger cat relents, though he shoots Lindsay a sullen look that clearly says "I was only trying to help, sheesh." Picky humans. Lindsay, meanwhile, reaches down to gently pet Ion, then pauses as she notices the wings.]

Normal animals don't have wings here, right...? So... You're someone else who's stuck here too...

[That made sense, right? She's only skimmed the Newcomer's Guide, really...]

[Ion relaxes when the larger cat stands down, probably appearing much friendlier when it comes to Lindsay. He'll even meow a little, though it's an attempt to speak, really.]

[He nods when she speaks up. Since cats can totally nod and this is a totally normal occurrence okay.]

Also darn you I keep getting distracted by the kitten videos.

So uh... I guess you can understand me then... I guess you're not normally a cat, maybe?

[That's a pretty good guess, especially since most animals in Luceti can talk at least a little... maybe she's a new feather? Either way, he's not going to complain: he nods a few times, hoping to emphasize that yes, he's definitely not usually a cat.]

[A pause for a moment as she considers things.]

I... I don't really know what I should do. Should I try to get you home or is there some way to change you back, or...?

[Offering to take him home is a good start! His ears perk up when she says it and he hops a bit in the direction of where he lives. House One was still a little far from here and his little paws were so tired... he also might look a bit dirty; he'd been walking for hours just to get to this spot!]
