Ion's feeling for Anise will probably always be complicated. Up until this summer, he still had strong romantic feelings for her. Then summer happened and people died and Dist went home and his priorities started shifting elsewhere. Dist going home probably hit the worst, and because Ion knew she never really liked him, he didn't really depend on her as much for comfort as he normally would have.
Then came November with all the drama with Arietta and he actually started (albeit unconsciously) moving away from Anise. They never really got a proper resolution to all of that, since save for Arietta successfully killing everyone, there isn't too much they can do to resolve things between them... That rift between them still lingers a bit, and even now there are a lot of things he's hesitant to talk to Anise about that he would have normally gone to her first for.
There's a part of him that will always love Anise, and a part of him that will probably always wonder what if things had gone differently between them. But as the person who's arguably known Ion the longest, chances are his feeling for her will eventually turn into a more familial sort of love rather than a romantic one. He already thinks of everyone in House One as his Luceti-family, and Anise is definitely a part of that.
