[The Malnosso weren't known for their kindness, and perhaps that's why Ion was returned to the village so far from House One. He was tired and all he wanted to do was curl up somewhere and sleep... which was something he was now very capable of doing seeing as he's been transformed into a soadoptable. Those little paws of his can only walk so fast, but he manages to make it halfway to House One from the plaza before he has to stop and rest. Finding a nice soft spot of grass to lay in, he curls up and sighs, hoping he doesn't fall asleep before he can make it back home...]

[Of course, assuming he does make it back to House One safe and sound, those living there can expect to hear tiny scratches and meowing at the door... and possibly a few windows if no one hears him.]


[[ooc: ION IS NOW A KITTEN. But he won't be forever! "Green" will turn him back to normal though with a pair of cat ears and a tail because I can, but saying "Ion" will make him go right back to being a kitten. And it won't quite be an instant transformation either, so figuring out what made him change should prove to be a bit difficult. He still has a tiny pair of green wings too, but the longer his identity stays a secret, the more fun it'll be. :'D]]

[Oh wow she has found the clumsiest kitten ever. D-don't hurt yourself any more! ;A; She's about to head outside to pick up the little ball of fluff when he finally manages to get there. Quickly reaching out and scooping you in before you can fall again! ♥ ]

Are you lost? A kitten like you should have an owner! [She's able to hold you in one hand, and starts giving you bellyrubs with the other.] Awww, you feel kinda thin!

[Anise stops, taking the flailing to mean he doesn't like human contact. She sets him down gently.] So you don't like being held, huh? What should I do with you now...

[W-What, aww. Weeell, it was a bit difficult to tell what a cat was thinking, after all. But he needed to find some way to let Anise know it was him! Hm...]

[Oh! Maybe if he heads to his room, it'll be easier for her to figure it out? And so, even though he's still exhausted from walking all the way here, he'll meow up at Anise before pattering off towards his bedroom.]

[Silly cat. How would you expect Anise to make a connection like that? Nevertheless, she follows him into the room, feeling rather lonely.] This was Ion's room. [Gee, she was introducing the house to a cat. Well, at least nobody's here to watch her make a fool out of herself.] He got kidnapped by those Malnosso bastards. When I find them, I'll kill all of them! [She sits down on the edge of the bed and buries her face in her hands. She hasn't been inside this room since the day Ion had disappeared.] Ion...where are you?

[Well, okay, he's not really thinking that hard. He's tired after being in a cell for a month and being forced to eat catfood, okay? Of course, he only knows it was a long time; at least a week, but.... exactly how long has he been gone anyway?]

[He hops up onto the bed side her and gently rubs his head against her side, meowing softly. I'm right here, Anise...]

[A-awwww ♥ You get skritched behind the ears for that, and Anise forces herself to smile.] I've always wanted a pet! I just never had the time or money to take care of one. [She scoops the kitten up again, nuzzling at the fur on his neck.] Maybe I can keep you?

[Being picked up again...! But no flailing this time. Instead, he nuzzles against her hand and purrs.]

[This was still a bit strange, but... well, if he can't do anything to cheer her up as himself, maybe he could cheer her up as a cat? He could endure a little embarrassment for her sake.]

[Sorry Anise, hope you don't mind the sudden poof of smoke in your face... as well as the sudden Fon Master sitting in your lap. Perhaps if she wasn't holding him so closely, he might have just tumbled down onto the ground. But nope, fate had other ideas in mind...]

[Unfortunately, she's not going to get the chance. Right as she's about to get close, there's that same poof of smoke again and Ion is gone... and in his place is that same green kitten from before.]

[And yes, he is still curled up and in agony because you know what, that's not the kind of pain you just get over right away. Sob.]

[NICE TO SEE YOU TOO, ANISE. He manages a small nod, but then goes right back to curling up into a tight little ball of kitten. He's also fighting a rather strong urge to run away, but that's just the cat instincts talking.]

[After a moment or so, he manages to roll over and get back into a sitting position... s-still hurts, but it was awkward not being able to at least face Anise.]

[But he pauses for a moment just to shake his head. He has no idea what made him change back in the first place... unless the Malnosso somehow did that on purpose just to be mean.]
