[The Malnosso weren't known for their kindness, and perhaps that's why Ion was returned to the village so far from House One. He was tired and all he wanted to do was curl up somewhere and sleep... which was something he was now very capable of doing seeing as he's been transformed into a

soadoptable. Those little paws of his can only walk so fast, but he manages to make it halfway to House One from the plaza before he has to stop and rest. Finding a nice soft spot of grass to lay in, he curls up and sighs, hoping he doesn't fall asleep before he can make it back home...]

[Of course, assuming he does make it back to House One safe and sound, those living there can expect to hear tiny scratches and meowing at the door... and possibly a few windows if no one hears him.]

[[ooc: ION IS NOW A KITTEN. But he won't be forever! "Green" will turn him back to normal though with a pair of cat ears and a tail because I can, but saying "Ion" will make him go right back to being a kitten. And it won't quite be an instant transformation either, so figuring out what made him change should prove to be a bit difficult. He still has a tiny pair of green wings too, but the longer his identity stays a secret, the more fun it'll be. :'D]]

[Mysterious pink person, he has no idea what you are, but you have food and Ion is hungry.]

[He seems friendly enough... maybe he's willing to share? Of course, it's kind of hard to ask when he's a cat. He stops and meows back, turning his face towards that bag.]

[Pommy glances down at his bag, blinking. He holds it up.]

Oh, did you want this?

[He nods, though with his head low to the ground. It seemed rude to just ask a stranger for their food, but... well, this was a serious situation!]

Well...Pommy only has one sandwich, so Pommy can't give you a lot. Is that okay?

[He nods again, a bit more eagerly this time. He's a pretty tiny kitten, so it's not like he needs to eat a lot anyway.]

[Pommy will walk over to a safe place on the side of the road where the two of them can sit down and eat. He takes out the fresh sandwich and -- rather messily -- tears off a piece of it to hold out to Ion.]

[Once sitting, Ion cranes his neck over to Pommy's hand before carefully taking the piece of sandwich into his mouth. It drops down onto the grass, of course, but he's so hungry he doesn't really care.]

[Pommy smiles and hums happily. Cute kitty is cute!]

Pommy's never seen you around here before, myu. Pommy would've remembered seeing a green cat if that were the case!

[And the reason for that is about to become very apparent! The moment Ion!kitty sits back up, there's a poof of smoke and suddenly the green cat is gone. In it's place is Ion, looking... well, very confused, to say the least.]

...o-oh. I'm normal again?

[IT'S A GIRL! NO, WAIT, A BOY! NO, WAIT, A GIRL! BOY! GIRL! BOY!

...whatever this person is, they're still cute, though.]

Whoah! How'd you do that?

[HE IS A BOY, THANK YOU VERY MU-- oh, who are we kidding, it's not like people haven't gotten confused before.]

I'm not sure. I didn't expect the effects to wear off so quickly... [And just to clarify--] I'm not normally a cat.

[Though his new cat ears and tail say otherwise.]

Effects? From what? [Pommy is only nominally acquainted with the concept of "mallynapping".]

I was kidnapped by the malnosso and they turned me into a cat. When I was returned earlier this morning, they left me in the forest. I tried to walk back home but it was so much further than I'm used to...

[He pauses to take a breath. Even after resting for awhile, he was still pretty tired. Just being kidnapped for so long was enough to wear him out.]

That's mean of the Malnosso! [Special ability: stating the obvious!] Why would they do a thing like that?

To be honest, I'm not sure they even have a reason. I can't imagine what sort of purpose changing humans into animals could serve for them.

[Especially into helpless kittens... I mean, come on!]

Myu, that sure is weird. [He glances up at Ion.] But you made a cute cat! [That's a compliment, right?]

[Aww, Pommy, you're so nice. He doesn't entirely know what to make of that compliment, but he smiles nonetheless.] Thank you... oh, and I should be thanking you for sharing your lunch with me as well. That was very generous of you.

It's no problem! Pommy's always ready to help someone out! [Mmmmmmmmmmoooost of the time.] Besides, food is free here, so Pommy could've just gotten another sandwich.

What's your name? Pommy's name is Pommy!

It's nice to meet you, Pommy. My name is Ion. [...no change, here. He's perfectly capable of saying his own name. The malnosso allowed for that, at least.]

Well, it's nice to meet you too, Ion!

[Uh-oh.]

[Uh-oh, indeed! There's another small poof of smoke and suddenly Ion is no more. In his place is that same green kitten from before, who unfortunately reappeared about a foot above the ground.]

[He lands with a small squeak in a rather ungraceful heap. He's really gotta work on that landing-on-his-feet thing.]

Oh no! Are you okay? [Pommy will scurry over a bit to take a better look at Ion kitty.]

[Dizzy, but overall okay! He sits up and rubs a paw over his face before nodding with a small meow.]

[And now he's a cat again... just when he thought this silliness was over!]

[Pommy's relieved to know that Ion's okay. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for Ion's share of the tuna sandwich, which is still lying on the ground.]

Myu, you probably don't want to eat that because it's all dirty now, right? Here! [He'll hold out another piece of his tuna sandwich.]

[Pommy, you are the nicest guy ever! Ion hesitates only for a moment before taking the piece of sandwich, bowing his head at Pommy and, this time, carefully resting it on his front paws to keep it off the ground.]
