[The Malnosso weren't known for their kindness, and perhaps that's why Ion was returned to the village so far from House One. He was tired and all he wanted to do was curl up somewhere and sleep... which was something he was now very capable of doing seeing as he's been transformed into a

soadoptable. Those little paws of his can only walk so fast, but he manages to make it halfway to House One from the plaza before he has to stop and rest. Finding a nice soft spot of grass to lay in, he curls up and sighs, hoping he doesn't fall asleep before he can make it back home...]

[Of course, assuming he does make it back to House One safe and sound, those living there can expect to hear tiny scratches and meowing at the door... and possibly a few windows if no one hears him.]

[[ooc: ION IS NOW A KITTEN. But he won't be forever! "Green" will turn him back to normal though with a pair of cat ears and a tail because I can, but saying "Ion" will make him go right back to being a kitten. And it won't quite be an instant transformation either, so figuring out what made him change should prove to be a bit difficult. He still has a tiny pair of green wings too, but the longer his identity stays a secret, the more fun it'll be. :'D]]

[He stirs a little when the blanket is wrapped around him, but curls up into it without even opening his eyes.]

[He'll probably go on sleeping for an hour or two before being woken up by a bad dream... after which, he'll forget for a moment where and what he is and flail his way out of the blanket before falling off the table.]

[...he's not a very graceful kitty okay.]

[He's... contemplating that latter option. On the one hand, being carried was a bit embarrassing. Even if he was a cat! But on the other hand, he was really tired...]

[He'll turn back to her and meow before trying to start off walking in that direction, but he'll really only make it past one house before he has to stop and lay down again. Not much stamina for a kitten...]

[He nods again. It was a good thing he explained the experiments before... er, though he's still not sure how long he's been gone. Anise seemed upset before, so it must have been awhile.]

[...also, he might start to purr a little, forgetting for a moment that this might be a little embarrassing now that she knows it's him. Regardless of how he looked now, he was back and Anise was here! How could he not be happy?]

[...when he looks back on this, he'll just pretend that kick never happened.]

[Aww, naptime.]

[He'll probably sleep for an hour or two if Nephry lets him. But after that, he's going to start appearing a bit restless. Suddenly, his eyes snap open and he flails a bit, as if suddenly forgetting where he was.]

[If that alone isn't enough to wake Nephry, the meow he lets out when he wakes up should. Even kittens can have nightmares.]

[Ion relaxes when the larger cat stands down, probably appearing much friendlier when it comes to Lindsay. He'll even meow a little, though it's an attempt to speak, really.]

[He nods when she speaks up. Since cats can totally nod and this is a totally normal occurrence okay.]

Well, it's nice to meet you too, Ion!

[Uh-oh.]

[... she gets the idea. She pets him a little more - gently, he's just a bitty kitten, after all - though she's mindful of the wings.]

So uh... I guess you can understand me then... I guess you're not normally a cat, maybe?

[Just a guess... if it can understand her, not to mention... green cat...]

[The sound startles her more than anything, and she picks up the kitten with both hands before she's really lucid enough to figure out what's wrong.]

[Just when she thought you can't be more cute...! ♥ ] I'll just take good care of you until you turn back! Is there anything you need right now?

[The purring earns an even bigger smile from Grune, and she keeps it up. After a while, she might scritch slightly behind his ears. Cats like that, right?]

[Kitty ;-; Unfortunately, Yui didn't quite hear the soft thud Ion probably had made when he fell off.

She was in her room, messing around with a small flower plush she had been working on for a while. She's been finishing it up while Ion was asleep and now trying to figure something else out.]

Hmmm, to make it or to not....

So...you've returned.

[He is talking to a cat. Man, Dist seriously wishes no one else is home to walk in on this. Bringing the little kitty a bit closer, so he can rest more against his arm, Dist looks down at him. This is so weird. If it was just a cat, this wouldn't feel so...odd, but knowing it's Ion now...rrrgh. The awkwardness just shoots through the roof. Should he put the little thing down? Ion in cat form was kind of adora--no! Nooo, he's not cute at all! Even that squeaky little mew...hfjs.]

I can't say I'm not pleased to see you, Fon Master, but in such a circumstance...can you change back again somehow?

[Please don't turn back while he's hold you.]

[She sighs frustratedly.]

Okay, listen up. I'll carry you, but you gotta help me guide you to your home, okay? Nudge me which way to go when he come to a fork in the road.

[So she bends down and scoops him up in her arms. Pff. She can't believe she's doing this...]

But you were a nice cat!

[And with that happening just as quickly, Ion squeaks as he's lifted up, eyes wide and staring back at Nephry. She should be able to feel his heart racing before he starts to calm down.]

[Though when he meows again, its much softer and, in his case, sympathetic. SORRY, MOM.]

Are you all right?

[Poor thing. He'll get cuddled against her chest, one hand gently patting his head] I hope you didn't see a mouse or anything like that.

[Ion thinks on that for a moment... he is pretty hungry, but how it he supposed to say so when he can't talk?]

[With a beat, he stands and patters over towards the door, peeking around the corner in the direction of the kitchen. With a meow aimed back at Anise, he heads towards the kitchen himself, hoping she'll follow.]

[Leading her to the kitchen should be hint enough, right?]

[He meows again softly before nodding. It was just a bad dream... he was home now and the third-party was far, far away. He was all right...]

[Though he might be shaking just a bit.]

[Well, now that he's awake, he should probably do more than just lay pathetically there on the floor. Getting to his feet and shaking his head, he patters over towards Yui's room and peeks his head inside. He's pretty small, so he'll meow once or twice to let her know he's there.]

[...well, it just seemed rude to waltz on inside without being invited!]

[OH TOPH YOU'RE SO KIND~ is what he would say if he could talk. Seeing as that's not the case, he can only meow to show his appreciation. He might even be purring a little!]

[Thankfully, it's more or less a straight shot to House One from where they were, so he should only have to nudge her once or twice to get in the right direction.]

[Yes, yes they do. And even Ion!kitties like that, it seems. He leans against her hand and purrs some more. He's just going to forget himself for awhile and enjoy this. After a month with the Malnosso, the comfort is appreciated.]

[That's a pretty good guess, especially since most animals in Luceti can talk at least a little... maybe she's a new feather? Either way, he's not going to complain: he nods a few times, hoping to emphasize that yes, he's definitely not usually a cat.]

[Grune is just going to sit here, petting the adorable kitty.

After a while, though, her hand will slow in its movements as she gets distracted by a stray thought….]

[Ion, Ion dear you are going to make her melt and she will be unable to leave her room out of sheer giddiness of how cute you are. The purring is just pushing the limits.]

You can't be one of the new kittens, I don't think any of them would have green fur...

[Yep, this message is much clearer. But anything would be clear compared to going to Ion's room and expecting Anise to know you're Ion. Still, she might as well make sure.] You're hungry, right? [Even as she's speaking, she's going to the cupboards already.]
